Hello!
I am so happy to be writing again. I have been so busy with school so I haven’t been able to post as much on here. But I have so many amazing things coming in the next few weeks now that we are really in the holiday season so stay tuned for that!
One thing I never got to write a lot about was my trip to Michigan after my birthday this past summer and I am so excited to be partnering with air BnB and western Michigan is officially of my favorite spots to go to so I wanted to share some details on my favorite spots! My mom and I started our trip in St. Joseph and worked our way up the coast from there!
St. Joseph
This place is so serene with very small town vibes which is why I loved it. Even during the summer, the beaches were very lowkey not too packed. The town itself had so many fun restaurants and shops and I honestly loved spending time there. We kept coming back it’s so beautiful. We stopped at this cafe called Cafe Tosi which I put a photo of the inside below it was so adorable and the food was amazing!
South Haven
I describe south haven as a lot more touristy but still a great vibe. There are a lot more shops and restaurants and shops in the area which was super nice. I loved this place because a little bit off the road we got to go blueberry picking which was so much fun! I had never been blueberry picking so it was a new experience and me and my mom LOVED it.
Grand Haven
The last stop on our little road trip was Grand Haven. This was probably the most touristy area there was. There were a lot of people but between Grand Haven and South Haven are some incredible wine tasting areas which was a lot of fun since I just turned 21 and had never before. There was even one that had Pie and wine which is a combo you just can’t beat.
I am so happy I got a chance to share some of my experiences with Michigan its so important to support these areas in the off-season so I encourage you to check it out and be safe of course! I’ve listed a few air bnb’s in these areas that are super discounted since it’s the off-season. I hope you get a chance to check it out and see these incredible views!
